Focus on health and wellbeing at the start of a new year.
Learn the ancient art of Tai Chi tonight, improve your balance and co-ordination

We welcome Acts of Kindness tonight to tell of their vital work in helping those with immediate needs in our area.
We will also make a small posy to give to someone as an act of kindness.

A suggestion from one of our members tonight - an evening of Board games. Join us for a relaxed evening, enjoying everyone's company, time to chat, time to play.

The hugely talented Southsea-based designer, Alison Gardiner will join us tonight. Alison won the commission to design the merchandise for Hampshire WI as well as now supplying other Federations.

The Committee runs our WI for you: we will run through the formal business of the evening to adopt the Accounts, elect the Committee for the coming year and nominate a Committee member to become President for the next 12 months.
After that we will be making decopatch garden tea lights to brighten up your outdoor space over the summer.
Please bring your spare plants along as we bring back the return of our popular Annual Plant Sale.

Celebrate the Queen's Platinum Jubilee with a bumper night of entertainment. Firstly a talk about the Queen's Bodyguard, the Yeoman of the Guard. This will include static photographic and various orders of service for the state occasions when the Bodyguard is on duty.
The second part of the evening will be a glorious Last Night of the Proms, flag-waving, singing extravaganza courtesy of local opera singer, Jennifer Parker -Lummis.
We are asking everyone to dress up in red, white and blue to celebrate the Queen's wonderful milestone, and bring along your own version of a Crown to wear!

Another great line up tonight - a 'cinema' style meeting with Mildred Freeman, Lady Historian joining us online from Nottingham, delighting us with Mother's Ruin - The Story of Gin.
Her hugely entertaining talk will be followed by a Q&A, swiftly followed by gin-tasting of some unusual gins you may not have tried before.
