PRESIDENT
The President is elected at the Annual Meeting, by a secret ballot of the members, from the elected Committee members, for one year. The President is the lynch-pin of the WI, is the leader of the Committee and sets the style of the WI. Annette served as a WI Adviser for 5 years and is a Federation MCS Rep.

VICE PRESIDENT
The Vice President is elected by the Committee, and supports the President in the running of the WI. Avril works very hard running the Events Table at our meetings, as well as organising raffle prizes and helping out wherever she is needed.

SECRETARY
Sue is the Secretary, she works closely with the President. and shares the responsibility for the general arrangements of meetings, being responsible for seeing Committee business is carried out. The Secretary is elected annually, by the Committee. Sue helps out with organising the extra events for members.

TREASURER
Cindy records income and expenditure of the WI, pays the bills, accepts payments for events and subs, and keeps the accounts for the WI. Cindy also looks after the Gift Aid submissions. The Treasurer is elected annually, by the Committee.

Carol is a very keen gardener and baker and is bringing her enthusiasm to the Committee. To ease herself in she has offered to help Fay on the refreshment table, please do say hello.
Maggie is a busy member of the Committee, she runs Dress for Dinner with Sue Howlett, she helps out on the Registration table, and is also our Raffle ticket seller.

Marion has been a member of the Committee for some time, and brings ideas and enthusiasm to our group. She is always more than willing to help out wherever necessary.

Eloise has just joined the Committee, having responded to the plea for new members to join. Eloise brings her sense of style and fun to the group, and we look forward to incorporating her ideas into our programme of meetings and events.
Jane is a jack of all trades. She has served 3 years as President and 3 years as Vice President. Jane is also Treasurer of the Bishops Waltham Group of WIs and runs the Canasta club. Jane helps with delivering the monthly food donations to AOK.
Sue helps Maggie with organising Dress for Dinner, and helps Avril on the Events Table. Sue is going to start keeping our scrapbook up to date along with Fay and will be taking photos of our events and meetings to illustrate our scrapbook.

Eileen has been MCS Rep since the formationof WAGs, keeping our membership records up to date. Eileen has also served 3 years as President, two of those years during Covid restrictions.
Helen has rejoined the Committee after a break, we have welcomed her back with open arms, she brings enthusiasm and energy to everything she does.
FAY TURNER
Fay is our Refreshment Table helper, she will make sure you are greeted with a smile and a biscuit as you arrive at the meeting and of course during the interval. This is a great way for her to get to know members.
